Expert Advice

Your skin has different needs at different stages throughout your life. If you’re overwhelmed by the seemingly infinite array of lotions and potions out there, you’ve come to the right place! Dr. Hopkins’ team of expert dermatologists can help you with the right skin care regimen for your needs. While changes to your skin as you age are inevitable, with proper care you can keep your skin healthy and looking decades younger.

Likewise, your body in general has different needs at different stages throughout your life. For women, managing the hormonal fluctuations that take place during menopause can be quite a challenge. Hormones in the second half of life affect the body in many ways—fatigue, body fat, depression, sleeplessness, hot flashes, mood swings, and decreased libido. By not addressing the symptoms, and left untreated, your lifestyle can be drastically compromised. Reaching an appropriate balance with the help of your doctor is key to your health and well-being.

It’s never too early to begin a program of active and balanced skin (body) care. You can develop and sustain a beautiful complexion as well as address your changing needs by maintaining a regular regimen that includes the following tips (arranged by age group).*
