Collagen is one of the most valuable substances in young skin. Unfortunately, our bodies produce less collagen as we get older. Radiesse® stimulates new collagen production to soften lines and wrinkles. As a board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Janine Hopkins, M.D., F.A.A.D. offers Radiesse® for men and women in Monroe, Alexandria, Shreveport, the Ark-La-Miss, Southlake, TX and the surrounding areas of Northeast Louisiana.
What is Radiesse®?
Radiesse® is a dermal filler that provides short-term and long-term benefits. The gel formulation adds instant lift to reduce wrinkles. Over time, microspheres in the gel stimulate collagen production. Once the spheres are absorbed by your body, the skin has a higher level of collagen to stay looking young.
How Much Does Radiesse® Cost in Monroe, LA and Southlake, TX?
The price for Radiesse® treatments at Hopkins Dermatology is based upon several factors that are unique to each patient. We will discuss cost during your appointment with Dr. Hopkins.
What Are the Benefits of Radiesse®?
- Recommended for rejuvenating the face and hands
- Unique mechanism of action
- No surgery required
- Short, comfortable treatment
- Long-lasting results
How Does Radiesse® Work?
The Radiesse® gel contains tiny microspheres of calcium hydroxyapatite that is proven to stimulate collagen production. Initially, the spheres give your skin a support system that has been lost as collagen levels declined. Over time, collagen fills in the spaces of the microspheres.
What Should I Expect from Radiesse®?
Dermal fillers, such as Radiesse®, are injected into various layers of skin to add volume. For your Radiesse® treatment, Dr. Hopkins uses a small needle to deliver the Radiesse® gel to the layer where it is most beneficial for anti-aging. You may experience some swelling, bruising, and other symptoms for the first two to three days after the treatment.
After your initial treatment, you should have maintenance treatments every four months for Botox®, Kybella®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®. Our other dermal fillers and injectables require follow-up treatments every year.
